Head is ATTACHED and not a separate piece.
An armature in the neck helps it rotate and flop just like a real baby.

More About Silicone Babies
Silicone has become a prominent medium in hyper-realistic lifelike sculpture. It imitates the translucency of real skin beautifully, and hair can be inserted to achieve incredibly realistic results. I cast my silicone babies in soft platinum-cure silicone. The materials are archival and safe. Each baby is hand-painted with silicone paint, and each then each hair is individually micro-rooted. Those babies with open eyes are fitted for unique eyes, so that the lids wrap perfectly around. Each eye is created and hand-painted here in the studio using the same methods and materials as those used for making real prosthetic eyes for humans. These are not “doll eyes” and the difference is astounding. The body is always poured in one piece, with no seam lines, glued parts, or pour holes. Each baby comes in a limited edition, and there are no “mistake babies.” Each one is perfect!
